Three representatives from from Indiana University have been accepted to attend the Clinton Global Initiative University Conference in San Diego, CA, April 1st-3rd! The representatives, Ross Smith, Ellie Berry, and Caitlin Ryan, are excited about the opportunity to represent the project and learn from other great non-profit leaders and volunteers.
The conference is a model of the Clinton Global Initiative, which brings together world leaders annually to discuss global issues and develop concrete solutions. At CGI U, roughly 1,000 students and representatives of non-profits around the world will come together to discuss their commitments to making a change and addressing global issues in five main focus areas: Education, Environment & Climate Change, Peace & Human Rights, Poverty Alleviation, and Public Health.
